I’m a happy father of one in Nova Scotia, have a wonderful wife and have a love of beer and food. I’ve always been at home in the kitchen or in front of a grill. Over the past few years, I’ve really developed a few hobbies worthy of sharing: grilled food, craft beer and low and slow BBQ.
From the first smoked picnic ‘ham’ done on the rotisserie on the gas grill I was hooked – the taste of smoke with food triggers something deep within the human brain, back to a time when all foods were cooked over an open fire, smoke wafting through the air, permeating the food. And, what goes better with that primal flavor than a great beverage made from malted barley, yeast, hops and water.
Through this blog, I hope to share some of those BBQ, grilling and brewing experiences.
