Again, sometimes simple is best. On a busy weekend, I could have gone all out for Virginia”s birthday supper, but sometimes simple is best.
Enter the double cheeseburger. Subtle, simple, delicious. Depending on our mood, sometimes the thick and meaty burger appears. Other times, as in double cheeseburger times, 1/4 pound, thinly formed patties rock. The thin patties cook extremely quick on a hot grill and get nice caramelized crispy bits around the edges. Topped with Monterey Jack cheese, thinly sliced Vidalia onions, sliced Moishe’s dills and a little mustard and served alongside roasted potato wedges, this is one of our favorite suppers.
